FAQs
What exactly does a Life & Business Coach do?
A Life & Business Coach helps you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
We look at what's working, what's not, what's holding you back, and what needs to change. Then we create a practical plan and accountability to help you move forward.
My coaching can include both personal and professional goals because, in real life, those two things are rarely completely separate.
What kind of things can we work on?
Almost anything that is keeping you from making the progress you want.
That might include:
Feeling stuck or stagnant
Time management and organization
Setting and achieving goals
Overwhelm and competing priorities
Mindset and limiting beliefs
Confidence and decision-making
Creating better habits and routines
Work-life balance
Business growth
Career goals
Budgeting and finance
Productivity
Relationships and family priorities
Health and personal goals
Finding more purpose and fulfillment
The focus is always on what matters most to you.
What if I don't know exactly what I need help with?
That’s completely okay.
You don't need to come into coaching with a perfectly defined problem.
If you know something feels off, you're overwhelmed, or you want something to change, we can start there and figure it out together.
Will you tell me what to do?
I'll absolutely give you tools, strategies, perspective, and recommendations when they're helpful—but coaching isn't about me telling you how to live your life.
My job is to help you think more clearly, make decisions that align with what matters to you, and follow through on the changes you choose to make.
What happens during a coaching session?
We'll start wherever you are that day.
Sometimes you'll come with a specific challenge or decision you need to work through. Other times we'll look at your bigger goals and priorities and determine what deserves your attention next.
I'll ask questions, help you identify patterns and opportunities, offer perspective and strategies, and help you determine your next steps.
How long are the calls and what is the length of the commitment?
Each session is 1 hour on either zoom or the phone (client preference). All packages are month to month. I want my clients to stay because they find the coaching beneficial, not because they’re locked into a commitment!
How often will we meet?
Coaching frequency depends on your goals and circumstances. We'll determine what makes sense for you during our initial conversation, but it will either be weekly or bi-weekly.
What is the price for coaching and how do I pay?
A 1 hour session is $125 for individuals and $150 for couples. Based on the frequency of calls we have scheduled, that will determine your monthly price. Payments are made on the 1st of the month and can be sent via Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or check.
Do you accept insurance?
Life and business coaching is not a medical service and is generally not covered by health insurance. Coaching is also not a substitute for mental health treatment or other medical care. Coaching is a tax write off though.
What are your coaching credentials?
I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Charlotte in Psychology & Sociology and a master’s degree from Liberty University in Counseling & Life Coaching.
I have also worked with over 450 clients on a variety of topics.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, stagnant, or like you're capable of more and you're ready to do something about it, coaching may be a great next step.
The best way to know is to talk it through.
